What TV Show

Was the one where 2 dads raised some kid, or kids or something? Because they didnt know who the real father was.

Desnudo 01-25-2005 01:24 AM

You're going to be shocked, but the title was "My Two Dads."

Suicane75 01-25-2005 01:29 AM

Paul Reiser, Greg Evigan and Stacey Keenan, who was much more bangable later on in that Duffy/Sommers show.

Plot Summary for
"My Two Dads" (1987)

When Marcy Bradford dies, she leaves her teen-age daughter Nicole in the custody of a father she has never met; or rather, two fathers - Michael, a straight and formal man; and Joey, a wild artist. Both were Marcy's former boyfriends, and together, they provide a unique balance of parenting skills for young Nicole.

The "Her dead mom was a whore" premise for a sitcom. Ranks right up there with "A Nazi camp".

I think it was Korea, but i would hardly call that the premise of the show.

There was one episode of "My Two Dads" in which the guys took paternity tests to see who Nicole's real father was. The judge who originally awarded custody of Nicole to the guys walked into the apartment with the results in an envelope. She handed it over to them, and the guys pondered whether they wanted to open it. Ultimately, they decided that they didn't want to ruin their family with that knowledge, and they tore up the envelope. I wish it would've been revealed that neither one was the father.

Ragone 01-25-2005 02:07 AM

Whose my daddy? :)

TLK 01-25-2005 02:10 AM

speaking of a bad plot-

Quote:

Henry and Kip are two advertising designers who had a real problem with finding a place to live. At the beginning, the sole place they could afford was condemned, but they only found out when the wrecking ball was smashing up the place while they were sleeping. A female friend suggested they stay at her building, but the snag is that the place is for women only. In desperation, they assume the identities of the women Hildegard and Buffy in order to rent a room. Now as they pursue their dream of success in the ad business, they also struggle to keep their deception at the apartment building so they won't be evicted, but the beautiful neighbours they have are a constant temptation.

I remember that show!!!

I know that the short guy was on Bob Newhart, but what ever happened to the tall one. I remember a movie he did about a bachelor party.... What was it called again?

JeeberD 01-25-2005 09:40 AM

Ah, Busom Buddies...such madcap humor on that show.

That is your opinion.

And its Staci.

CamEdwards 01-25-2005 10:05 AM

My Two Dads also featured Giovanni Ribisi, who's now perhaps the most respectable actor to come out of that show.

It also featured Chad Allen, who's now gay.

/useless trivia.

Hammer755 01-25-2005 10:42 AM

I can't believe that on a football board there is no mention of Dick Butkus in association with My Two Dads.

Gio was the girls boyfriend on the show...
