Dear Freddie Mitchell,
You are a frickin moron. Go eat yourself. Signed, Earth |
mmmmm Mitchell

Quote:
What did Fred-Ex ever do to you?? |
Quote:
Exist Hot Seat last night was the last straw. He must be eliminated. |
then who gets his championship belt?
|
Ah man, he's my favorite Bruin! I own his Jersey!
|
What did he do last night?
|
In short
Question: Name the Patriots cornerbacks. Mitchell: Uh, well, uh.... Questioner: You don't know their names?!?!?! Mitchell: No uh, can I say their numbers though...22 and 25. And 37 that's Harrison, I know that and I'll be bringing something for you next Sunday. |
how is he suppossed to know all 500 guys the patriots have at corner?
|
Quote:
Any pics of him wearing the belt? |
Quote:
I would have given him a pass had the Pats had a #25 on their roster. |
Hmm, I thought Patrick come off as quite a prick also in the interview.
Pretty pathetic all around. |
Dan Patrick IS a prick.
You are just realizing this? |
Quote:
His posse handles the belt for him. |
Freddie was just being a decoy on that Interview, think about.
The Patriots are gonna get pissed off and go after Freddie, leaving Alligator Arms Pinkston and One Leg Owens a little more free than they would be. And who's gonna benefit the most from all this? Greg Lewis and his 150 receiving yards and 2 TD's. BOOYAH. |
Anybody hear/read what Steve Smith said about him?
|
The man is obviously a genius.
|
Mitchell is like Chad Johnson without the humor, playing ability or statistics.
|
Quote:
Would this be the same Steve Smith who called Schottenheimer a moron for not kicking the FG on third down, because when you miss a FG on third down, you get another shot at it? |
Quote:
No the Steve Smith, who can catch the ball. |
oh, Steve Smith the panther, not Steven A Smith the dumbass or Steve Smith the basketball player. Got it.
(What did he say? Mitchell is a dumbfuck?) |
Quote:
Idin't it Chad Lewis? :p |
...no. It's Greg Lewis, WR, #83.
|
Yeah I was watching that hot seat interview. 5 questions on Owens, 1 on the patriots secondary with the sole intent of making him look like an ass.
Whoever is in charge of that programming segment should be fired, then shot. In anycase, I like Mitchell, he's a funny dude. Unfortuantly his Harrison comment went right to the bulletin board in the locker room. |
Quote:
If Harrison needed Mitchell to say something like that to fire him up for the Super Bowl, than the Pats have serious issues. I highly doubt he even thought twice about it. |
Its an extra little something that will fire up the whole secondary. And I'm sure him not knowing names and numbers will feed right into the "We don't get any respect" talk.
|

Mitchell is stupid and watches just enough film to know numbers, not names. No (lasting) shame.
The Pats get more than enough respect, if only because of all the "Dynasty?!?!?!?!"..."?!?!?!?!?!"...talk. I'm pulling for them in the big game, and I dig them a lot. But all this "no respect" garbage is played. |
Quote:
Not disagreeing. But they were chanting that after Indi, and chanting it after the Steelers. If it helps them get pumped up I'm all for it. |
Quote:
I think the majority of the Patriots feel like they don't get respect, and they may be right. The Patriots' success gets respect. So does the coach and QB. But everyone attributes the overall success to a sytem, rather than the quality of players. I think people like Bruschi, Harrison, and McGinest feel like they get overlooked, and probably rightfully so. Of course it keeps salaries down and them motivated, so I don't have a problem with it personally. :) |
Mostly it's the secondary thats been playing the no respect card. But its been true nearly all season until the Colts game.
|
Frankly, I'd prefer that people who get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars per year not complain about a lack of respect. But that's just me. ;)
|
Quote:
What does how much money you make mean when it comes to respect? I would want to be considered at a level appropriate to my peers regardless of salary. |
Quote:
|
Uh Freddy.. just remember. unless you score, or go out of bounds..
YOU don't hit them. THEY hit YOU. :D |
Quote:
 |
Quote:
Desnudo & Galaril, it's meant to be tongue in cheek. But I guess you're probably right--after all, getting signed to play in the National Football League must mean they think these guys can't play. No respect at all. Uh huh. I put the smiley there for a reason, kids. P.S. Since it doesn't seem to be abundantly clear: I'm not saying the amount of money one makes has anything to do with ones worth--in fact, I don't believe that at all. But in terms of an employers respect for your abilities? Come on. |
Quote:
I saw this on another message board I go to, so I'm not sure if it was really said, but we'll assume it was. Quote:
|
Why is Steve Smith so angry?
|
Quote:
No respect. |
Quote:
Subtlety doesn't translate well on an internet message board. Sorry it didn't immediately become clear when you tacked on of these ;) on the end your statement. :p  ;) And, like I said in my original statement, its a discussion of respect comparable to your peers, not whether your employer respects you, which Robert Kraft obviously does. |
Quote:
Uh, there is no #25 on the Pats roster. That must be some film he's watching. |
I wonder if Mitchell will be hanged in Philly if the Eagles lose the Superbowl.
|
Quote:
Never. They don't hang guys that only had 22 catches during the season that only get a couple in the big game. |
Quote:
He's slowly proving he can hang in the NFL and he has stepped it up in most games without TO being there so you cant complain too much |
Quote:
What in the hell are you talking about? Working backwards vs Min 5-65-1TD 1 fumble lost. by far the best game. vs Atl 2-20-0 vs NYG 1-22-0 vs Min 1-14-0 vs Det 3-71-0 vs Chi 2-21-0 vs Car 2-31-0 vs Bal shutout vs Pit shutout I'll give the guy credit. He's on TV and in the news far more than any other sucky receiver in the league. |

Quote:
|
ahh, good point
|
Quote:
Haven't got a clue how that is "working backwards"?? Let's just take a look at his game log. Code:
2004 REGULAR SEASON GAME LOGNot bad for his last 4 games...15 catches with 3 TDs and another on a fumble recovery. Keep in mind, the last two games of the regular season were the Detmer/Blake Show and he did score the only TDs in both of those games. By no means is he a premier receiver in the NFL...but, he's stepped it up and made himself a viable option for McNabb with the absence of TO. |
oops, f-ed up the regular season.
Either way he's horrible. Pinkston, Mitchell or Lewis would be hard pressed to even make the Pats roster. |
