Nice. :) The last panel is perfect for me. When I had had one date with my future wife, we were trying to set up a second one. I told her I assumed she had plans for Sunday (which was the Super Bowl) so how about...

Her: "Why would I have anything planned for Sunday?"

Me: "Er, the Super Bowl?"

Her: "Oh." (slowly realizing football might be important to this guy)

Still haven't been able to get her into football, but somehow we've stuck together.

JAG: Yeah, I actually kind of had this moment with my wife this week. We're driving along and she mentions that so-and-so is doing X on Sunday. "Are we up to anything on Sunday?" she says. I just look at her, and then it dawns on her what Sunday is. Pretty funny stuff. :)

My wife's really geeked up for Sunday. She loathes Corey Dillon and has become for one week only, a big Eagles fan.

I on the other hand, am rooting for Charlie Weis.

PS: I love my wife. Not that she watches a lot of football, in fact she can't stand watching the Pats in important games, says it makes her way too nervous, but she does know what's going to happen on Sunday. Heck, she's the one who's been telling me she just has to make her special natchos, been telling me that since the playoffs started :)

This is just beautiful.

My daughter's second birthday party is scheduled for a local children's gym from 4-6, so we're all set to make it back in time for kickoff. My wife is not a big football fan, but she understands and has her own Pats jersey to back me up (my daughter LOVES wearing her Tom Brady jersey...)

That's funny - my son's 5th birthday party is scheduled at a gymnastics place from 4:30 - 6 that day too. :)

Thats funny, my 38th birthday party is from 4:00 to whenever the game is over. :)
