digital photo album?
 

I am interested in putting a photo album on my website, does anyone know of good (preferably free) software for this? And is there something that will make thumbnails for said photo album?

Webshots.com is a big hit here on campus, but I'm not sure if that's the sort of thing you're looking for. As far as I know, that site does not require any software.

those are great options...I guess what I was looking for was more something that I could integrate into my website, rather than host somewhere else?

www.fotki.com will give you that option. however you need to subscribe to premium service which is $30/year.

Two thumbs up for photobucket, if that's what you are looking for. I also thought you were looking more for a software than a website, is why I didn't mention photobucket before now...

dola, irfanview can creat pages of thumbnails if you want. Don't know how cute the page will look, but it should be able to do it. www.irfanview.com it's a freeware...
