Nba Street V3
Fairly fun so far from the dinking around i've done...
The dunk contest is fun to mess around with.. i'll weigh in fully after i've played it for a few more hours |
I've only spent maybe 45 minutes on it total in the past couple of days, but I don't think I like it yet. :( I don't like the available camera angles, the announcer's voice is tinny, the colors are all washed out, and besides the dunk contest, I don't really see anything new. Maybe it's just because I haven't played this series in several months, but I'm finding the game a little difficult to control. How the hell do you do a trick counter? I can't remember at all.
Maybe after winning a couple of games and upgrading my team, I might feel like I have a better handle on things. Right now, it just seems like I'm spinning my wheels. I'm going to keep trying, but I haven't gotten that "wow factor" that I got from Vol.2. |

I was sort of afraid this might be the case. I'm glad I've held off on buying this to read some reviews on here. |
Is anybody playing this? I just bought it. Very "arcadey" obviously, but a lot of fun!!! I do have played also NFL Street 2 though, which is very enjoyable.

I pretty much stopped playing it after my post in this thread three months ago. It's not a bad game, but MVP Baseball 2005 came out a couple of weeks later, and I started playing that instead. I've had no motivation to get back to NBA Street Vol.3 at all. I'm sure I'll play it again someday, but I got burned out on it really quickly the first time I tried to play it.

I rented it a couple weeks ago and spent around 6 hours with it. It was fun, but like Pumpy said I got burned out pretty fast. Good rental though.
