What percentage of women would vote for Hillary Clinton?

I wonder if it would be a big enough number to give her a chance

Ksyrup 02-24-2005 12:11 PM

You've started a poll on a text sim messageboard to find out what percentage of women would vote for Hillary?

gottimd 02-24-2005 12:13 PM

No trout option?

Yep :D

rkmsuf 02-24-2005 12:14 PM

What's a women?

Raiders Army 02-24-2005 12:23 PM

Your poll percentage ranges are too small. I'd say it would be somewhere between 0% and 100%.

Seriously though. If she were younger and hotter and not married, she'd probably get the lesbian vote.

To draw this thread back into a slightly more serious light, here's my take on it.

I know that my girlfriend has told me that she would not vote for a woman at this point b/c of a fear that other nations and their leaders would not respect a woman president. I imagine more women feel the same way than they would like to admit.

I would like to think that we are past the point as a society where voters would select a candidate solely because of their sex or race. However, I know this is definitely not the case.

We are well beyond that. It's now their hair and knowledge of sports.

If a woman was hot I'd vote for her, black or white.

Franklinnoble 02-24-2005 01:09 PM

We already tried this. John Kerry lost.

Heavy guys get love too. Look at Beyonce and her fat tub of goo boyfriend.

Do people honestly feel that 80 percent of women would vote for Hillary Clinton or are they just being funny? 80 percent of women don't agree on anything. 80 percent of anyone don't agree on anything. Well... except the hotness of Rachel Ray... :)

Desnudo 02-24-2005 01:15 PM

Aren't the majority of women registered as Democrats? That was the only factor in my choice. I think 61% would, I don't know about 80%.

I could see somewhere around 60 percent, although I know a lot of liberal women who absolutely can't stand Hillary, but I think that's a reasonable guess. I chose a bit lower, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was 60-65. Above that seems unlikely to me, and above 80 seems absurd.

Well would is put there, thats why I put 80-100. Because there is no if, so I am working on an open ended if. Like What percentage of women would vote for Hillary Clinton if she was running against Barry Bonds?

Hard to believe that a lot of people in this country still believe that. Off the top of my head, I can think of the UK, Norway, Turkey, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, and Pakistan as countries that have had women prime ministers/presidents. Note that three of those countries are predominantly Muslim...

Jay Z is a fat tub of goo?

Desnudo 02-24-2005 01:25 PM

I didn't know Norway was Muslim.

Klinglerware 02-24-2005 01:27 PM

Note that I said three of those listed are Muslim...

I believe he is, given the hotness of his lovher. He booty adds like 40 pounds to his goofy ass.

rkmsuf 02-24-2005 01:45 PM

Beyonce is thick.

Surtt 02-24-2005 01:47 PM

This isn't a fair question.

I wouldn't have a problem with a women president.
I can think of several, both democratic and republican, that I would vote for.

That being said...
I would not vote for Hillary under any circumstance.

Abe Sargent 02-24-2005 01:49 PM

The question is was too dependant on her opponent. What percentage would vote for HC in a crowded demcratic primary? Who knows. What percentage would vote for HC against a moderate republican (McCain, Ah-nold if the Con is amended)? Probably not that many more. What percentage would vote for HC over a republican female challenger (Rice)? Probably not more than 55% or so, and maybe not even that.

Voting patterns are too dependant on situations to predict like this.

If only Margaret Thatcher had been respected, she could have really influenced world events.

sterlingice 02-24-2005 03:39 PM

I can't believe someone put 0-20% No matter how bad a campaign is run in this day and age, at least 25% will vote for anyone as long as they have a D or R next to their name.
