Fantasy Trade - balanced?

Standard 5x5 Yahoo league. This trade was vetoed in my league (I wasn't involved on either side), and there's a lot of arguing about it. Wanted some opinions:

Team A sends:
OF Eric Byrnes
SP Greg Maddux
SP Bronson Arroyo

Team B sends:
3B Aubrey Huff
1B/OF Shawn Green
RP Chad Cordero

Thoughts?

Nowhere near lopsided enough to veto.

I do not understand leagues where the competing owners can vote to veto trades.

If there is arguing going on, then it's a fair trade. A veto should only be used to stop collusion. And the next step would be to kick both parties out of the league.

My opinion as well. Bad deal, perhaps, but it's not an utter ass-raping.

My thoughts exactly. It's a bad deal. Getting Huff, who qualifies as a 3b this year and who hit around .300 with 35 HRs and 100 and something RBI's, is a huge upgrade over an outfielder like Byrnes. But Green is not the player he once was. Confusing him with the Green of 2002 is the only thing that makes this a veto trade. Although I can see in certain ways why people are upset. Huff is a lot more valuable than his name would inspire now that he's a 3b.

Well, the arguing is mostly from the guys who made the deal. Since it's a Yahoo league, there's always the specter of collusion.

The trade ended up being veto'd, probably in part because of my take on it - the order of drafting was Huff (5th), Green (early 10th), Maddux (late 10th), Cordero (12th), Arroyo (13th), Byrnes (20th); hence the questions of balance. I'm having second thoughts, which is why I threw it out.

I agree that it's not worth vetoing.
