I don't know... That looks an awful lot like a football on the cover. I think EA now owns the copyright on balls of that shape and color.

Not to mention "American Sport" alludes to football too much. I am sure EA now has the rights to not only NFL in video games but all descriptions that could be of the NFL as well. I think the best bet is to call it noneuropean nonaustralian football with a large question mark on the box. Or better yet:

SEGA Presents: Paper Football! Live the glory of folded loose leaf paper and finger goal posts. Play on such famous venues such as the school library and the kitchen table. Now with improved kicking mechanics and animated sideline cheerleaders!
