KFC $1.99 Chicken Fried Steak Wednesdays
 

Is this a national thing or just a local thing. Just wondering, because this has to be the best deal in the history of the food service industry. A (smallish, but enough) chicken fried steak with gravy, a biscut, and two sides for $1.99. I don't think it gets any better, folks.

Haven't heard about it here, and don't see anything about it on KFC.com...

I wish you could see what it's made out of.

I haven't seen it offered here. I didn't even know they offered chicken fried steak.

I'm sure it's made of really bad stuff, but it tastes good and I'm sure it won't kill me.

And I never heard of them offering it either, and I think they only do it on Wednesdays

They have that here in NoCal. Haven't tried it. My guess is that they go to McDonald's on 29 cent hamburger Wednesday, buy a bunch of them, deep fry them, and, bam! 1.99 Chicken Fried Steak Wednesday.

Just reading the thread title gave me indigestion.

I've seen that in Chicago. Not at the one closest to me, but I've seen it.

Never heard of this deal, but I could go for some Chicken Fried Steak with gravy.
