MSN Virus?
 

Not sure if anyone has come across this, but I've heard about it happening to a few people I know already... you'll get a message from someone on your list saying something like "Check this funny link!" and it'll have a link to something, or some program to download.

It's apparently a virus, and for one of the people that got it, their net connection was gone.

I'm not sure if this is the result of the MSN virus, or if it would be something else entirely different, but has anyone else here come across this too?

Believe you're referring to that, don't believe it's MSN only, but it's from the actual link not the program, although it seems to affect everyone on their list. Says the sites have been taken down though.

This virus (ms messenger) ran rampant today at work. I must have been to just about everyone's pc at one time or another.
