FM - has 5.0.3 changed the AI?
 

It's strange. I'm Newcastle and with the tactics I used, I finished in 3rd in the Premier League (a point from 2nd). I installed the patch during the 'offseason'. Now, I'm having trouble with the tried and true tactics I've used. I'm struggling to stay as 9th in the EPL and a number of players have lost confidence with me. These are the same tactics which worked so well before the patch. Now... they aren't doing the job. Even though on the SI board I'm hearing there were no changes to the AI, I'm left to wonder what is going on. Perhaps some unintended consequences when tweaking something else?

In that case, I'm not upgrading!!! :)

I do know that the computer will learn about your tendencies, so if you try to go to the same well too often and keep using the same tactics, the opposing coaches will catch on. That is why no one has been able to find a Diablo tactic equivalent in FM.
