I told Jave to rename the zip file and then have you try and download it.

Help Please-file download problem

I've recently joined the FFL. I'd rate my cpu knowledge as above average. For some reason or another I cannot download the current league files. Everytime I go to the link and save the .zip file, it saves the previous stage. I've cleared temp files, cookies, etc. I uninstalled and reinstalled winzip. I'm also in another league where this is not an issue. I've worked with the commish on this and I'm the only one with a problem. I can't make any sense of this. Is there somewhere a temp file is stored that I'm not overwriting?
Not sure if anyone can help

oh, you're the "other source"

I'm skeptical that my suggestion didn't work, but my next one would be to try a different browser - if you haven't given Mozilla Firefox a try, now is the time.

I've heard nothing but good things about it. Jave never changed the file name. Let me ask him to do that first

This is one reason as to why it's a good idea for commishes to have unique file names for each league file. I like to archive everything anyways.

I have trouble downloading the file as well, with firefox. So I download it with IE and there are no problems. Its the only league I have this problem with too.

Hoya1 03-11-2005 09:29 PM

hmmmm

Hoya1 03-11-2005 09:37 PM

tried the download with Firefox. No dice. Same files as with IE.

Jave got it to work. I think he changed the name of the file. Not sure about anything else.
Thanks

Go figure. The suggestion I gave to him well over an hour ago worked.

Yeah, I think he needed to talk to one of the other guys in the league about it first.
