XP at Best Buy Rebate
 

SO I saw a thread earlier about this and I can't find it now. I wanted to upgrade anyways so I could play MxO so i went to BB and got XP for $89 and it spit out the $50 rebate forms too. Am I going to get this? I thought people were saying BB told them they weren't honoring that rebate?

last i heard the rebate should be good, but best buy is also known for rejecting rebates with the slightest thing wrong with them (they rejected a rebate I had for when I bought my sister a computer. It was like $200, the rebate. I called and complained, and they said they couldn't tell if I put an R or an N for my last letter of my name. I told them, and they eventually sent it after like 15 weeks (originally 6-8).

Rebate should print out at the register. The Fat Wallet thread on the subject doesn't seem to have any recent posts about people not getting it.
