Pre Nup

Child Support and the divorce courts are inherantly slanted to favor women.. whether or not its fair or not is debatable.. but my friend pays 800 bucks a month FOR ONE KID.. and the woman(i use the term loosely) uses that money to support her fashion/party habit.. that poor kid barely has any clothes.. etc

If it is slanted then why don't they balance it? Some women are evil fucking creatures. I will never marry a woman without a pre-nup and even then I am not sure it will hold up in court. The way some of these judges are.....Oh and woman can not drive.

That is outrageous. The judge even admits that her actions caused the termination of the marriage. Unreal. If you've got a hookup with that much money, with that many millions that he has spent specifically on you (via the gifts, jewelry, brokerage accounts, etc), you should get nothing if you then go dick around with other men on the side.

This just proves that adultery is not really illegal. If adultery were considered so bad, she would not have had a penny more than the husband wanted to give her.

He gets what he had coming. Sounds like she dumped some other man to run off with him, so he shouldn't be too surprised that she ran around on him. It looks like she has never really taken marriage vows seriously her entire life. She must have been pretty hot.

Yeah, i have friends in similar situations(though they dont pay *that* much. I just cant believe that they dont require even a rudimentary summary of where the woman spends the "child support," after all, its for the kid. I guess it goes to show to not have a kid without being married.

While I'm not advocating her infidelity, lost in this is that they hooked up for 27 years and she got 27% of the estate. He got to keep a helluva lot more than she did:

A prenup would be worthless in this case. When they were married back in 1978 he was not a millionaire, he worked as a professor at a college. Nine years after that he founded AIG. Basically the vast majority of his $168 million came since then. Even with a prenup she would have been entiled to half of the assests. Her adultry cost her $44 million. I think that it is fair.

the question I have to ask is if HE had cheated on HER how much more would she be getting?

I guess the moral of the story is to get a prenup even if you think you're going to be rich someday. ;)
