21 Today
Yes, I turn the great age of 21 today.
The good news, I am finally legal to do everything (casinos and the alcohol, if I choose). Sadly, I am home from college, and my mouth is wired shut (due to surgery-but it is very good results). Oddly, it is a very good year. Turn 21, bro gets married in July and is doing very well professional, my surgical/medicial advances are amazing (looks like I am getting an extreme makeover)-and the new self confidence is amazing as well, go back to college as a senior hopefully in the fall, look foward to my future extremely more so, and just looked to check on the status of my laptop from Hewlett-Packard, and it shipped (estimated to ship by April 1st): Though I do find it odd where it is shipping from (not really odd, just funny): Date/Time Status Location Comments Mar 30, 2005 1:28 am Arrived at FedEx Ramp SHANGHAI CN Mar 29, 2005 11:30 pm Package status SHANGHAI CN Package in FedEx location Any ideas of when it will arrive in New York State area? |

Man it's late...I meant "its finally good to be at the age where you can anything that is legal." |

Can you hold the office of President of the United States? Oops...maybe not "anything" that's legal, huh? :) |
You can still get blitzed even with your jaw wired shut. Have a blast, bud! :D

Yeah, that would be great if I was at college. But drinking alone at home, with my mom here, not the funniest idea. :) |

Don't knock 20! I wouldn't mind being there again  |
Happy birthday! It must suck to have to wait to 21 to have a legal drink!

Happy Birthday! I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed my 21st birthday.

So, with your jaw wired shut, do you just pour the beer on your teeth and wait for it to seep in? I would suggest wearing a poncho.

Somebody decided that if you are under 21, chances were much higher than normal that you would try to operate a car and attempt to drive it. I would prefer a drinking age of 18 and a driving age of 21. That way kids would have a chance to know what alchohol does to them before they ever operate a car. Of course, that suggestion would only work under the assumption that America actually had public transportation that was safe, cost effective and logical to use. |
