Is it too soon to start projecting baseball season stat totals?

If not, then Dmitri Young is on pace to hit 486 homers and drive in 810 runs.

If so, my apologies.

:D

I'll take the under.

tdydynasty 04-04-2005 03:17 PM

I take the over. saracasm

mckerney 04-04-2005 03:17 PM

No, no, no. They are banning/looking more closely at/testing for Steroid usage, not augmenting the use of it.

He has the best first name in all of the major leagues...

tdydynasty 04-04-2005 04:22 PM

By the way the Indians are on pace as a team to score 0 runs this year after their 1-0 loss to the White Sox. The White Sox are on pace for a monster 162 runs scored.
I take the over on both.

larrymcg421 04-04-2005 04:39 PM

I take the under on Braden Looper's projected ERA.

If a Yankee had a season that equaled this statistically, but only hit .286, Yankee fans would still complain.

Coffee Warlord 04-04-2005 06:42 PM

The Cubs are on pace to score 2268 runs this year. Fear us.

BigJohn&TheLions 04-04-2005 06:48 PM

The Mets are on pace to lose 162 games in the 9th. (actually, this sounds about right...)

JeeberD 04-04-2005 07:00 PM

The Astros are on pace to not play a game...

Yeah and he'll actually play all 162 games. However, none are true.

Also, the Cubs suck.

That is all.
