I get the following when trying to access:

Anyone know what is going on?

Based on that message, I would say that hihi, sirh0t, and 00pz hacked the site.

Closed my browser and when I came back in did not get that message.

I'm not getting that message. Everything looks normal to me.

Actually, just got it on the front page, too. My direct link to the general discussion board is the only one that is working. I have links to "IHOF", "IHOF:Forums" and "IHOF:GD." Only "IHOF:GD" is working. THe other two give me the k00l d00dz message.

I got the same message three times in a row and I can't get in at all.

Try this. Go to the files page. From there, you can see all of the homepage links. Everything appears to be working EXCEPT for "Home" and "Forums"

That should at least allow us to survive until whatever happened is fixed.

Added them all to a Folder in my Favorites. What a pain, but probably a lot less pain than it took for the script kiddies to cut and paste their worm-virus-hack-thing. :)

Actually, I just realized that you can jump directly from one forum to another in the lower right from any forum, so you actually only need bookmark one of 'em.

That's not how worms work. Worms are automated programs that randomly scan ranges of IPs looking for vulnerable targets. When it finds one it automatically exploits the vulnerability and moves on looking for the next vulnerable target. It doesn't care how many users are on a site.

I'm getting another error on all links to the board...even ones to the specific forums.

DOOMED!!!!

What version of phpBB has IHOF been using? Not that there hasn't been security issues with phpBB before, but we use a very ancient version of it over there (2.06(!)).

Not even sure if Cringer's crappy host has made a newer version available.

Seems to be a problem related to the server space that our database resides on. I've contacted the host and opened up a help ticket. I'll keep you updated.
