Fenway Park is tiny. Especially to left field. So can anyone tell me how THIS happened?

Manny Ramirez hits an inside-the-park home run (4) on a fly ball to left field. Trot Nixon scores.

Well, he had lots of energy left after making 2 errors earlier in the game.

I just read the same thing and asked the exact same question.

Did the 3B, SS, LF, and CF all fall down?

It didn't really happen that way.

Ramirez hit a fly ball over the Monster that bounced off the rail on the Monster seats and went back to the field. It was initially ruled in play before the umpires conferenced and got the call correct that it was in fact over the wall and a Home Run.

John Gibbons then came out and argued the call getting ejected.

The error is on ESPN, it was in fact an outside the park home run just clearing the Monster in Left.

Maybe the 2nd baseman too?
