Poker - Recent Tournament Run
 

Hi,

I've had a very good run of tournaments recently. I don't get to play for real money often, because I'm pretty tight on dough and I do play for money locally. Anyway, this is the run I've had over the last 8 days:

Last Sunday: Won a local tournament for $100 (NLHE)
Thursday: Finished sixth out of 3,012 on Stars to get into one of those restricted tourney (Limit Hold'em)
Friday: Finished 30th out of 1200 (PLO H/L)
Saturday: Finished 10th out of 2500 (Limit Hold'em)
Sunday: Finished 5th out of 400 on JetSet ($25 freeroll, won $2)
Tonight: Currently 4th with 18 left on JetSet ($1 tourney, $250 guaranteed)

Have you ever had a run like this? I've had this once before, where I made three final tables in three days. But this run may be the best I've ever had.

Just got bounced in 14th. Had QJ in the SB, flop came AJQ, I pushed all-in to push straight draws or entice a dry ace...and get shown AJ.

Ah well.

I got stung by a bee at 4:30am, and since I was too spooked to go to sleep again (I'm allergic), I played a tournament. 355 started, I finished second.

Just missed that elusive championship. Damn.
