MMmmm This is a tasty deal especially to me because it gives us (Time Warner Cable) a majority of the Los Angeles and Orange County markets. Direct TV is already reeling with their current marketing in the LA/OC area that is claiming customer service will be lost and cable bilils will go up. But this is the same company that is claiming they have a larger market share then all cable companies combined in the U.S. (which is false). We've all been talking and hoping this deal would happen at work for the last 2 years since Adelphia announced their problems and now it going to happen. |
Any talk about Time Warner here in Northern New England, or am I getting stuck with Comcast.

If you already have Comcast there you will continue with them. The only Comcast affiliates we will be taking over eventually are in CA, Cleveland, and Dallas. |
Actually, we are Adelphia here, but Comcast is big in New England, but is not in Vermont. Congrats to you on your expansion.
|
So when does this not become a monopoly?
Fuck Comcast in the ear. |
I know we are getting Adelphia in Maine not sure about Vermont.

Well your cities and communities are the ones with the agreements with the cable companies, plus many communities do allow other companies to "overbuild" but those companies would have to build through the system with their own cable. Besides cable companies have competition it's called Satellite. :D |
