Yahoo! Going to a Cards game tomorrow!
 

First game since 2002, when I went to the Padres-Cards game out in San Diego. Bud Smith started and JD Drew homered. I got autographs from Steve Kline and TJ Mathews. Heh. Not one of those guys are on the team now. :)

The really cool part about going is that I've spent the past two weeks here at home taking care of my injured wife. She fractured a lumbar vertabrae just over two weeks after she was bucked off a horse.

I feel a little guilty for going, but she encouraged me to go. She's doing much better now. She didn't suffer any spinal cord damage or need surgery. She's still in pain and stiff, and can't bend down very well. Still, much better than two weeks ago, when she was taking baby steps in the hospital.

Bring your rain gear.

Dang. Weather.com says rain, rain, and more rain. Looks like I don't have to feel guilty, after all.

I will go back to sleep now.

I hope they got their bootie kicked...
