Kellen WInslow, Jr. -- Now, about that incentive-laden contract...
|
|
Somewhere, Ron Gant is wincing.
|
Doesn't he have an incentive to break Ki-Jana Carter's record for most games missed?
|
Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy...
|
I give up...
|
...just when you thought cleveland was getting its shit together.

What exactly made you think that? |

You mean Droughns the holdout? That's a nice move. Trade for a system RB who immediately holds out. |
You would have thought that these guys would have learned something from the whole Jason Williams thing...

Quote:
Oh, didnt realize he was holding out. Cleveland sucked ass over the last several years, its pretty obvious. All I'm saying is that they made some good moves, and this happening hurts pretty bad. I hate the Browns anyways. |
Quote:
Yep, he's one of a handful of guys Rosenhaus has holding out right now. TO being the big one, of course. I'm not fond of them either, but I fear with Savage around, the bad decisions may start to dwindle. Unless that dirty Cuyahoga water rots his mind. |
HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAHAHAHAAAAAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!
Winslow is a dork |

You can always root for Denver. At least the defensive line will make you feel at home. |

That was a terrible move. I would never trade for RB from Denver, much less one that was already crying for a new contract. When all is said and done, I think William Green will be the Browns leading rusher this year. Droughins will look horrible when and if he comes back and Suggs will get hurt very early on, again. Green appears to have everything back in order and could be the back he was during the second half of his rookie year. |
Wait, who was supposed to be the browns QB this year?
|
Winslow's a fuckin soldier.

I'm rooting for URFA Lang Campbell... woohoo! |

Yeah, good luck with that sorry ass ex-Cleveland DL :p |
This story will be just too funny if he ends up owning the Browns a large portion of his signing bonus.

does "Sharpie" always answer his own questions? |
He's an idiot!!
He is a spoiled brat whose got alot of money, but hopefully not for long. I'd cut him right now if he were on my team. Stupid arrogant, no good for nothing.... |
Quote:
They should have known that when they drafted him. No, wait, I forgot ... he's a solider  |
Quote:
No, no...he's a fucking soldier! |

As a Raider fan, I say the same thing ;) |
Im by no means an afficianado of bikes(I do watch American Chopper from time to time), but i googled what he was riding, a Suzuki GSX-R750, which is a slightly higher quality "crotch rocket" type bike. No wonder he got hurt.
|
What did people expect? A brain surgeon? Miami is only school where they hold a parade for you if you score double digits on the Wonderlic
|
There is actually reports now that he was seen earlier that day at a motorcycle show in Canton (approx. 60 miles from where he crashed) with a bunch of more expereinced riders who were popping wheelies, and when Winslow left the show he did a wheelie going about 50 mph. I guess there are several people who can back up the story as he made no secret at the show about being Winslow.

Now he's hoping for a fucking purple heart . . . |
Maybe he was swerving to avoid a land mine.

Dola: Can it be possible that he's in worse shape than we are being lead to believe?
|
Heard on the radio not long ago that he's still in the hospital with a swollen shoulder and a swollen leg...both so swollen that an MRI can't be done on either part yet.
Doesn't sound life threatening at all, but certainly could be career threatening... |
Some new reporting on the incident (summarized by pro football talk):

as a moutaineer fan, who saw this fuckalinski catch a 4th and 15 pass late in the game which ended up resulting in a winning drive against us.....I laugh my ass off everytime I see this thread. Can we pump it up a little and turn it into the thread that just won't die? I'm thinking of cartoons with little pop up bubbles, .....hanging out with friends....priceless.......the joy of buying a new toy....priceless......being stupid and disrespectful about the terms of an NFL footbool contract.....20 million or so....
HA HA HA HA HA HA. HA HA HA HA HA HA. yeah, I know, that's mean......HA HA HA HA HA HA |
I bet some would think it's unfair it the Browns cut him, afterall, theysigned a contact....

I thought that Winslow wondered why his helmet had a "U" on it when "It would be me wearing it." :D |

Possible torn ACL. Done for season if that's the case. If he is gone, then I am interested to see how the Browns handle it. On the one hand, they could use the cap relief that getting his bonus and salary back will bring. On the other hand, I am sure that his agents are telling the Browns Front Office that if they don't "do the right thing" and honor his contract (despite the fact that he breached it), they will do everything that they can to portray the Front Office as cheap, callous, and penny pinching to future free agents. |
LOL
Herd just repeated that, torn ACL...lost for year "Serious" |
Reports have been saying that the day of the accident Winslow was in a bike shop watching a video called Star Boyz. The Star Boyz are a Clevand area crotch rocket stunt team, the funny thing I found out today is I used to know their team manager.
|
Cost of motorcycle: $10,000.00
Cost of helmet: $150.00 Cost of good protection gear: $350.00 Cost of safety lesions: $500.00 Ruining a promising NFL career over stupidity: Priceless |
So let me get this straight...
Winslow hit Jim's garage door, knocked his entire home off its foundation and took out a pole? |
