Tragedy in a church building

A local congregation had something happen tonight which is just truly every church-workers worse nightmare. Some how a 2 year old got into the church baptistry and drowned. It happened at the Fairview Church of Christ in Henry county, just outside of Stockbridge. I have spoke there before, and know the preacher there pretty well (in a weird twist, he had just given notice that morning). For the praying types, can you keep them in your prayers, please? I'll let you know more when I know more. (and I'm sure the AJC will have a report on this by morning)

They will certainly be in my prayers.

No parent has to bury their child, especially that young. I am praying for her soul and her family.

That is just horrible. My condolences to that community.

That sucks.

Why don't they drain the damned thing when it's not in use?
