Seriously- wtf ? Who thinks of killing someone as a fun thing to do ?

Reminds me of the Stephen King novella, "Apt Pupil."

You're making the mistake that these are people anywhere near the moral and intellectual level of normal folks...

They were probably fans of the Grand Theft Auto franchise.

I wouldn't even say their intellectual level is below normal folks. Humans have a remarkable ability to dehumanize others.

"Neighbors said the two suspects were part of a menacing group of boys who caused trouble around the neighborhood. One woman said she sent her 15-year-old son to live with a relative for the summer to get him away from Scamahorn's crowd.

Chad Halfhill, 16, who called himself a close friend of Scamahorn, said a group of eight to 12 teens picked on a man they came across in the woods near this community 55 miles northeast of Orlando.

I think you'd pretty much have to kill a homeless man for fun. There certainly doesn't seem to be much money in it as a career...

I think the one where the kid killed his family and friends on the day of his graduation is more shocking.
