I don't have to say anything, This stuff writes itself.

Gonzalez Hurts Himself In First At Bat Back

Steroids?

And Aaron Boone is hitting .157 over 153 at bats, yet the Indians still send him out there. I guess they must know he cant do any worse.

"Any time you add Juan Gonzalez to the mix, it's a good thing," third baseman Aaron Boone said before the game. "I think, as a team, we've started to play better. Hopefully he'll fit right in. It sounds like he's healthy and ready to go. Hopefully he can come in and be Juan Gonzalez."

Sounds like he did just that.

I fail to see the problem.

I thought he'd at least make it to first base before he got injured. Hey, at least he got up to bat - he could have hurt himself in the on-deck circle.

And believe it or not, he has been in a slump lately batting .150 ;)

Give Gonzalez a lot of credit on that play. At least he didn't spike himself.

DeToxRox 06-01-2005 10:35 AM

Oh Juan.

WSUCougar 06-01-2005 10:44 AM

At least he didn't break his pinky in a recliner, like Mike Remlinger recently did.

As a Tribe fan, I just have to laugh. This season is ridiculous.
