Michael Jackson Collapses!!!

How shocking! Michael Jackson collapsed as his trial ended, and he needed an IV at the emergency room!

I certainly hope that he is alright.

Joe 06-03-2005 05:17 PM

the trial was a Thriller

Comey 06-03-2005 05:21 PM

heybrad 06-03-2005 05:24 PM

kingfc22 06-03-2005 06:02 PM

Billy Jean was his nurse or so I've heard.

Schmidty 06-03-2005 06:09 PM

If he gets away with this, he's definitely a Smooth Criminal.

I thought that Billy Gene was his lover.

judicial clerk 06-03-2005 06:27 PM

Billy Gene is not his lover. She just a girl that thinks he is the one.

I think you guys should just get off his back for a minute. I mean, Can't we all just live in harmony. Perfect harmony even. Like the keys on a piano keyboard. (Oh Lord!)

Qwikshot 06-03-2005 06:36 PM

kingfc22 06-03-2005 11:15 PM

So with the jury still out, I quickly read through the latest CNN article and a few things stood out as bizarre/funny:

1. "Sources said Juror No. 2 was elected as the jury's foreman. The man is a 63-year-old retired counselor and amateur artist from Santa Maria who described himself during jury selection as a regular CNN viewer."

Thanks for that last important piece of information, CNN.

2. "...Jackson's father, Joseph, turned up at the courthouse, agitated and demanding to know where his son was. Surrounded by a gaggle of cameras, he walked up to a sheriff's deputy and asked, "I want to know where my son is at."

The elder Jackson eventually left, after a deputy explained his son was at home."

Hahahahaha!

3. "The Rev. Jesse Jackson, who said he has been meeting and praying with the pop star, told CNN on Monday that the singer is suffering from "excruciating" pain but remains resolute and strong in his conviction of his innocence."

Nice choice of words, Rev.

4. "In many ways, his destiny, at least for a season, is in the jaws of the jury," the civil rights and religious leader said."

Jesse's been spending way too much time with Mike Tyson, apparently. What, is Michael worried that he'll be in jail during next year's season of Desperate Housewives? Could you at least wait until he's been convicted before you equate the jury with predators?

5. "About an hour into deliberations Monday, the juryinformed the judge that they had a question. Santa Barbara County Superior Court Judge Rodney Melville notified the attorneys in the case of the jury's query, but the nature of the question was not made public....

...Questions from the jury are a public record since they are submitted in writing by the jury foreperson, the AP reported."

Are we suggesting a violation of public records law, or was that a note from CNN's attorney that they forgot to remove from the article?

Not quite Daily-Show-quality summation, but very good. I actually did hear Jon Stewart's voice in my head for "Thanks for that last important piece of information CNN."

Raiders Army 06-07-2005 01:59 PM

But can he still moonwalk? Even today, it's a pretty sweet move...almost as good as the worm.
