A Simpsons vs. Family Guy vs. South Park Battle Royale!

I think this is a better poll than the other poll. Which show was best during it's prime?

For me, no contest. The Simpsons blows the others out of the water.

rkmsuf 06-14-2005 02:17 PM

trout option please

gottimd 06-14-2005 02:17 PM

I don't see no stinking poll?

VPI97 06-14-2005 02:18 PM

I don't see your pole.

Edit - Oh there's your pole! It's very nice!

rkmsuf 06-14-2005 02:19 PM

trout, m-fer

VPI97 06-14-2005 02:20 PM

The Simpsons episode with Hank Scorpio single handedly kicks the crap out of Family Guy & South Park put together.

gottimd 06-14-2005 02:23 PM

Go Speed Racer goooooooooooooo!

rkmsuf 06-14-2005 02:24 PM

I hope the voice actors go on strike.

gottimd 06-14-2005 02:28 PM

Hopefully someone will start a thread/poll with more options than three. What about Oblongs, Harvey the Birdman, Danger Mouse, Eric the Banana-man?

cartman 06-14-2005 02:32 PM

South Park has never left its prime.

Of course, my opinion could be construed as biased... :D

Aqua Teen Hunger Force > Danger Mouse > Harvey Birdman > Bananaman > Oblongs > Home Movies

Raiders Army 06-14-2005 02:34 PM

Not that these are universally the top three, but to include those is like saying

"Which is the best baseball team in the country
1. St Louis Cardinals
2. Minnesota Twins
3. Chicago White Sox
4. Baltimore Orioles
5. Cleveland Indians
6. Kansas City Royals
7. Tampa Bay Devil Rays
8. Pawtucket Red Sox
9. High Desert Mavericks
10. University of Texas Longhorns
11. Klein Forest High School Eagles
12. Those guys playing out behind my apartment building"

SI

It has its fits and spurts. For instance, in the second season, they really just set out to gross out the censors so there were some real clunkers. These days they still have some bad eps (like that stupid Paris Hilton episode from last season or two seasons ago) but, for the most part, it doesn't seem like they're out of ideas yet and can still make good episodes.

Pawtucket now or in it's prime?

ISiddiqui 06-14-2005 03:12 PM

South Park

Greyroofoo 06-14-2005 03:47 PM

Futurama!

Kodos 06-14-2005 06:17 PM

I think we're beginning to see that The Simpsons kicks those other shows bitchy little asses. :)

Eaglesfan27 06-14-2005 06:22 PM

I would have answered the Simpsons in the other poll as well if that poll specified in their prime. Clearly the Simpson's is the best of the three back in its prime :)

sabotai 06-14-2005 06:30 PM

The Simpsons are overrated. There, I said it.

jeff061 06-14-2005 06:37 PM

South Park. I don't know why. I can watch the same episode 30 times and laugh every time. The Simpsons has outworn it's welcome, and I just don't "get" the family guy. I see where it tries to be funny, where it could be funny, but it does nothing for me.

I guess I'm simpe minded :).

timmynausea 06-14-2005 06:40 PM

Can we get a poll about which poll was better?

timmynausea 06-14-2005 06:40 PM

and I mean in its prime, of course.

Your not the only one that thinks this, I love SouthPark and although sometimes its over the top I like the current affairs humor.

A Kodos poll is always better and is always in its prime.

There, I said it.

Archer219 06-14-2005 08:50 PM

I don't think Family Guy has hit it's "prime".

I vote Simpsons, though that it may be different in 5-6 years.
