FM Technical Problem
 

Since I switched to playing in windowed mode, the game won't start-up (the window frame pops-up briefly, then it just disappears and there are no further efforts to load the game). I can't find any external way of switching back to full-screen mode, either. A solution for either problem would be appreciated.

I've had something similar happen when it was processing and looked like it was frozen. If I waited it out, it would finish what it was doing in 5 or so minutes and everything would be ok.

It sounds like it cant start in windowed mode for some reason (have you changed your default screen res?) ...

Solutions either:

* Delete the FM2005 section in your registry (only try and so this if you're technically able).
* Uninstall/Re-install & repatch game
* Change your resolution to above 1024x768 mode so that the game can start ok then tick full-screen, exit and go back to the other resolution
* Run the game using the -small_screen command (which will work in any res above 800x600).

I tried uninstall-reinstalling already. It still tried to start in windowed mode and failed.
My resolution is and always has been 1440x900. Never changed it.
I'll try the small-screen command and then the registry edit if that doesn't work and let you know.
