Prayer/Good Thoughts Request - Dennis Related

My parents own a condo in Orange Beach, AL...they got hit pretty hard by Ivan (a Cat. 3 hurricane) last year, lots of water damage but nothing structural, and just finished reconstruction on their unit last week. Now Dennis is approaching as a Cat. 4. They are doing everything they can to stay away from the TV today - the waiting is just killing them. Please send good thoughts and prayers this way - and to everyone who is affected by this storm. Thanks!

We came out fine. No internet at home, and I had to pull down a section of gutter that was blowing away, but otherwise, no damage. Much more rain/wind than any of the storms from last year, but oddly enough, no thunderstorms. Just plain rain and wind.

The photo on CNN's web site is from 30 miles south of Tallahassee - St. Marks, Shell Point, Alligator Point, etc., were all flooded terribly.

The damn storm came ashore RIGHT where I used to live (Navarre Beach, FL).

121 MPH wind gust reported on Navarre Beach.

Orange Beach and the area (Gulf Shores, Mobile, etc) dodged a huge bullet yesterday - very minimal damage to the area and the storms weren't nearly as bad as everyone was expecting. Thank Goodness - now we still have a place to go for free vacations!!! :)
