These people who do sign language are amazing, and somewhat entertaining. Watching the local news which pops in every so often with hurricane reports (since it is going to hit us somewhat) and they are putting up a little box with a lady doing sign language while the weather guy talks. She does it so damn fast, and some of the things come across as kind of funny looking.

Come on man, some of these signs for 'downhill' and other things I don't know are just kind of goofy looking. I admire the people because it has to be hard to learn and do that fast, but still....

Why wouldn't your local news channel just put a text crawler with the information,
or closed captioning?

Because it's action packed! Fast paced! News developing super fast!

Actually I don't know. They do have some, but a lot of it is shelter info and stuff.

And the same two people are signing their asses off still this morning. This is like 14 hours these people have been going. Bet they are getting a nice check at the end of this.

Which is easier for you to digest...a movie with subtitles or a movie with voice-dubbing?
