The Rules

The rules are the same as previous FOFC “I’m With Stupid" Contests, as set forth by the game’s beloved founding fathers.

The object of this contest is to answer the questions posted, and to provide the most common answer among those submitted. For each question, your score will be equal to the number of people who submitted that response. Your score for the contest will be the product of your individual question scores. Highest score wins.

No collaborating in any way. No posting your answers to this board, nor sharing them by e-mail or in any other way with other potential contestants.

All determinations of "matches" and anything else requiring judgment fall to that of the sole administrator of this round of the game, me. You can reduce the need for doubt and judgment by properly spelling your submissions, being clear, and that sort of thing. My decisions are final and inarguable.

Passes from behind the defensive blue line to the attacking blue line will be considered legal. The center red line will be ignored for purposes of the "two line pass".

Any references that are unclear to you, due to language or geography, should be understood to be authored from the perspective of an English-speaking American. However...

Your answers do not necessarily have to be correct in order to score points. If I ask "Name something funny," and you and four other people responded "thread parodies" - you each get five points, period, even if it is not technically a correct answer to the question.

Guns n ROses sucked, right from the beginning, they were a hair band born and bred to sell to the largest number of teenagers, and the ploy worked perfectly. THey are simply awful.

Sorry, 80's hair band rock doesn't do it for me.

Saying Guns N Roses is hair band rock is like saying Public Enemy is Hip Hop... it might LOOK like it, but the music is completely above the genre...

So did they have just 1 good CD? I actually recognize three songs now and it's all coming from one album..

They had five albums altogether. (So far... most of the band is now Velvet Revolver, and Axl keeps claiming that he's coming out with a new G'n'R album but it's been seven years in the making.)

I occasionally hear songs from all but their last album on the radio.

Axl released something horrid as G N' R a couple years back. From the music that's been released, Velvet Revolver has some similar guitar work (as one would expect), but the style of the songs is a lot different.

Yeah, I like Velvet Revolver, but not nearly as much as I like old GnR.

I like that the door is now seemingly open for authors to add their own "personal touches" to the IWS intro. From declarations of undying servitude to rewriting the rules of hockey -- it's a good forum for this, methinks.
