Former Dallas Cowboys QB picked for Survivor: Guatemala
Nope, not Aikman or Staubach. Heck, not even Danny White. :D
hxxp://www.benmaller.com/archives/2005/july/26-former_cowboys_qb_on_survivor.html Former Cowboys QB on "Survivor" Tuesday, July 26, 2005 Former Dallas Cowboy quarterback Gary Hogeboom is among the latest batch of castaways on "Survivor," according to the NEW YORK POST Hogeboom, 47, is now a land developer in Grand Rapids, Mich., but turned in his day job for another shot at fame on "Suvivor: Guatemala." Filming on the show is currently under way in Central America. Hogeboom spent the first six of his 10 seasons in the NFL with the Cowboys, after he was drafted by the team in 1980. |
Ah, Gary Hogeboom. There are some memories. My second favorite Cowboys backup QB behind Steve Pelleur and just ahead of Jason Garrett.
|
What, they couldn't get Babe Laufenberg to sign up?!
|
The Babe is a TV hotshot here in Dallas now. I doubt he'd mant to risk messing up his pretty face on Survivor...
|
Hoge!!!!!! He's an ex-Colt too. Actually probably took more snaps for the Colts than the Cowboys. Was the starter when they won the division in 1987. He crossed the strike line and lead us to a 2-1 record in scab games, giving us a big edge in the division.
If he gets hurt in Survivor like he got hurt for the Colts, I give him a day, day and a half max. |
The should do Survivor: Colombia. What tribe can export the most blow, and what tribe can defeat the other cartel.
|
Dola...
What ever happen with Jesse "Can I have that rose back because I forgot your name" Palmer? |
Yes! Go Gary Hogeboom!
|
One of the Phoenix Cardinals all-time greats.
|
I don't know who this guy, but I'm pumped knowing that a new Survivor season is approaching, this one filled with a guy who has been behind bars for drug trafficking in the Dallas area. I love generalizations!

1 season with the Cards - 2500 yards, 14 tds, 19 ints |
Like he said...one of the all-time greats.....
|
They're really running out of Survivor locals. They should just do a Survivor: Las Vegas and weave the story line with CSI.
