PTI's new "Format"
 

So they've added and extra 5-10 minutes of PTI each day, but in order to watch it, you have to wait through the first 5-10 minutes of Sportscenter to see it. Pretty good idea by ESPN to get people to watch Sportscenter for a change, but its pretty damn annoying. Beats 10 minutes of Stephen A and Skip B.

I just TIVO sportscenter now and fast forward to the PTI section. I agree that it was a smart move as PTI is my only regular viewed show on ESPN now.

Yeah, they just started that this week. I can do without the last few minutes.

Someone figured out that there are a LOT of smart people who no longer suffer through SportsCenter, but do watch PTI. (see any of the countless Stephen A. rant threads for more detail on this)

So the ending part with like Happy Happies and stuff is now the beginning of SportsCenter?

Actually, it seems to be about 5 to 10 minutes into SportsCenter.

They still do the Happy Happies on the regular show. It's the errors, the run down, and I think they might spend a minute on a specific topic or two. Not missing much.

As long as the format is two sportswriters yelling at each other, I don't give a shit about what time it's on.

I believe in the logo they have all the letters one color, while the pti that shorty highlighted are a different color.

Yeah, I think it was a pretty clever move too. Too bad I just turn the show off after they go to sportscenter unless something major is happening.

yes, but this is simply to reinforce the name of the show. or do you and shorty actually believe the show is called PTI because those three letters happen to fall together in the word interruption? if so, what a stroke of the luck that the first two words in the show happened to be "pardon" and "the" thereby making the "PTI" that much better!

Of course the show is called PTI because of the first letters of Pardon the Interruption. I bolded the part that is differently colored in the logo just to keep that theme going. Obviously me and Vince are not idiots, do not try to undermine us.
