Poll: What's for Dinner?

No, seriously.
I'm home alone until Sunday night and only just realized that there's no poultry in the house. Tomorrow will include a run to the grocery store for proper food, but tonight it's going to be takeout of some sort. Remember, if you vote "Other" you have to make a suggestion in this thread. :D Voting closes at 6:30 p.m. ET Friday night.

MikeVic 07-29-2005 04:30 PM

Hamburgers from Wendys

digamma 07-29-2005 04:31 PM

Chinese food: Shrimp with the chef's "special sauce."

jeff061 07-29-2005 04:33 PM

Pizza, it's what's for dinner.

BigJohn&TheLions 07-29-2005 04:35 PM

Go out and get the Cream of Sum Yun Gui

gottimd 07-29-2005 04:35 PM

I assume the "Other" option includes trout.

DaddyTorgo 07-29-2005 04:35 PM

big john, is that supposta be read out loud as "cream of some young guy?"

stevew 07-29-2005 04:35 PM

Voted #1
A big plate of the Generals Chicken with fried rice, and some cheese wontons would be my personal pick.

Farrah Whitworth-Rahn 07-29-2005 04:37 PM

I voted "Other".

One of each for me. :D

terpkristin 07-29-2005 04:39 PM

Actually trout is not an option for me for eating...I'm deathly allergic to seafood. One allergy attributable to fish, iodine allergy for shellfish.

And Farrah, sure one of each for YOU...but I'm not pregnant so I thnk I'll stick with one of the options.

And thanks everybody so far, keep 'em coming!

Eaglesfan27 07-29-2005 04:52 PM

I'm also home alone tonight, but Mrs. Eaglesfan went shopping before she left town for work. However, I'm going with Chinese tonight just because I feel like it :)

I'm going with Sweet and Sour Chicken from my favorite Chinese place that delivers.

sabotai 07-29-2005 05:04 PM

Pizza Steak and Mozzarella Cheese Fries.

Raiders Army 07-29-2005 05:08 PM

We usually have Chinese on Fridays, but tonight I'm eating Caucasian.

Seriously...we usually have Chinese, but since we're going to NYC tomorrow, we're eating Ravolli (sp?) and Meatballs.

korme 07-29-2005 05:09 PM

Chicken Lo Mein

Raiders Army 07-29-2005 05:10 PM

I usually get Vegetable Lo Mein, since I don't trust the "meat" in the food.

Oh yeah, always hot and spicy as well. yowza.

jamesUMD 07-29-2005 05:27 PM

Come on you Terp. Cluck-U of course, and is it Kenny's for Chinese???? Killed too many brain cells @ University of MD.

terpkristin 07-29-2005 05:32 PM

No, I'm not in College Park right now, I'm in Columbia.
Danny's for Chinese in CP. And YUM Cluck-U. I heart their wings.

But seems that Chinese won tonight's poll. Now to order it. Then go the 2/3 of a mile away it is to pick it up :D

Not that I'm aware of (lived in Laurel the previous 3 years through last July)

terpkristin 07-29-2005 05:53 PM

It would appear there is one in Laurel, but still too far to go and get takeout, which is waht I wanted. Takeout or delivery...

I haven't lived in Columbia for 6 years, but I knew there was a Cluck-U there before that, in the corner of the shopping center right before Laurel Lakes on Route 1.

No, no, no! It is:

Grandpa, what's for supper? Kids these days. They probably don't even know what BR549 was the number for.
