HELP! Online Participant having trouble
 

one of the people in my multiplayer league can't get the game downloaded correctly. When he downloads the game and installs it on the computer, it gets to 100% and then says "SEVERE"... "unable to load program icons"... does anyone know what the heck the problem is, because we can't figure it out.

A way could be to email [email protected], or do a search on this board if someone else has had this before...

Sounds to me like he didn't get the entire install file. I'd say for him to clear his cache and try downloading again.

Beyond that, I have no idea; I've never heard of this happening to anyone else.

Ask him to download it from some other computer, or try sending another owner's downloaded file to him, burnt on a CD. Downloading the file from a different location might also work, if lucky... SkyDog has the file hosted here: http://www.younglifenorthdekalb.com/...otball2004.exe
