NFL Preseason starts at 5 am, anyone gonna watch it?

Colts play the Falcons in the America Bowl at 5am eastern. Anyone gonna watch it?

Will Peyton get the kind of numbers in this season he saw last season?

Will Vick get owned by the Colts D like he was 2 years ago?

Go Colts!

P.S. If you don't watch this game then you're obviously not a man.

Because men like watching Peyton Manning take four snaps from center followed by 120 guys who will be moving furniture and working in car washes come Tuesday afternoon?

:D

I read that the coaching staffs were in negotiations about how long they'd play Vick and Manning. They were trying to reach an agreement about how many plays they'd leave them in, with both Defensive Coordinators agreeing not to send any blitzes until they were out of the game.

That being said, I'm typically up by 5am anyway, so what the heck? :p

VPI97 08-05-2005 04:20 PM

I'm watching it.

I'll be drinking, too. :)

The difference, of course, is that I'll be getting up in the morning to watch it. You'll have not gone to bed yet. :p

BTW, I heard that you met Myke Compton's uncle recently.

Greyroofoo 08-05-2005 04:26 PM

The colts mentioned they'll leave the 1st team offense in for about 15 plays.

I will surely be drinking too, enough to at least believe the Peyton is playing the whole game.

Schmidty 08-05-2005 04:28 PM

Well, that guy is full of shit then. The Bears a few years had televised scrimages against the Browns and possibly the Chiefs. It might be the first scrimmage nationally televised, but not the first televised.

And, I thought I remember reading about the Cowboys Training Camp Satelite back in the 90s.

GoldenEagle 08-06-2005 12:05 AM
