Saturday, August 20: DFW FOFC gathering
 

This upcoming Saturday Lathum, cartman, and myself are going to be meeting up at The Flying Saucer in Addison to finally meet each other and have a few beers. If there are any other DFW FOFCers who would like to join us, we'll be meeting there around 9pm.

I hope to see some of y'all there!

I'd actually consider driving down if I wasn't so poor and didn't have a ton going on this weekend. Maybe I'll come down for a Cowboys game later in the season and catch you there, Jeebs. :)

Cool. I know for sure that I'll be at the Thanksgiving Day game against the Broncos, but other than that my plans for Cowboys games are up in the air...

Ahh, well the Thanksgiving game would be out. My family has standing plans for Thanksgiving Cowboys games, and they wouldn't let me miss it even if I was going to the game. :D

It's never really been too awkward when I've gotten together with folks from the UTEP board before, but I suppose that folks from that board might have more in common. Most of us are originally from El Paso and of course we have UTEP sports to talk about.

Pretty much a bar. They bring in bands on Fridays and on the occasional Saturday (doesn't look like they have one lined up this Saturday) and the rest of the time they just have music playing over the system. They also have a fair number of TVs, but nowhere near enough to be considered a sportsbar.

The draw about the place is the 200 or so beers they have available. If you haven't already done it, make sure you check out the beer menu. They have some amazing stuff. They also serve wine, but no liquor...

You'll like the waitresses, Lathum. Most of them are quite nice looking and they wear short, plaid, school girl type skirts.

Oh, they also serve some food there, but it's not a huge menu.
