Without being disrespectful, with everything going on in New Orleans right now does this really qualify as "Breaking News" on CNN?

What else were they going to flash up there? Nothing else was breaking at the moment, I assume.

I take the CNN "Breaking News" things to mean, "We found out about it first, but wanted to tell you before we wrote an article about it." Not that it is of prime importance all the time, but just a "we told you first" type of thing.

New Orleans is old news now.

As an aside, I keep seeing this thread as "Gillian dies" and automatically think of Dana Scully in a casket.
