NFL Week 3
Party on!
I'm hoping the Jets can get another win here, despite the fact that I know they're going to look like total shit.
Orton, 278 yards, 2 td's.
Bears 31, Cincy 13. Mark my words! |

Akers hurts himself again on the opening kick.
Quote:
Admit it. You wanna see Urlacher singing the Super Bowl Shuffle, Part 2. |
Then he goes out and tries to re-kick the ball and injures himself more.
Oakland starts off at the 50.
Chicago challenging an Int...should be overturned.
Fumble by Losman on a nice 3 and 14 scramble... may be challenged
may be? will be, and it will be overturned. clearly down
7-0 Raiders
And....it wasn't. Quick TD by the Bengals. Poop.
So far the Jets look good... no fumbles.
vikings leading the saints 7-0. Scored on a 24 yard pass from Culpepper to Travis Taylor, after Stecker fumbled the opening kickoff for NO. And the D just forced a 3 and out.
Saints are terrible. Fumbled the opening kickoff for the second straight week.
Packers had a good drive going then Henderson fumbled it Now the Bucs are heading the other way.
TD Bucs. Griese to Galloway
great to see the vikings started Mewelde Moore. nice 28 yard run
ooh Koren Robinson is playing. I wonder if he's sober.
That's 2 roughing the passer calls against the Bills on Vick. Both with hits to the head when Vick was running for his life... tough calls.
TD Packers Juran Boldin just got caught flat footed on a 4th and 5. Ferguson just ran right by him. It looked like he thought there was no shot at the Packers throwing the ball
WOW. 68 yard bomb to Marcus Robinson, down to the 15.
and another wasted opportunity for the vikings. Edinger hits the goalpost. fuckers.
Is Jimmy Smith a Hall of Famer?
Quote:
Don't worry, Saints will give you more. |
another travis taylor TD. 17-0 vikings.
:D Of course my opponent has Culpepper.. He plays like shit till he's against me. How about the Colts Defense.. hah
The Jets suck.
Wow 3rd pick of Orton. Bengals D making turnovers a regular meal.
Quote:
Well ... DUH..... ;) |
Aaron Brooks is putting on a quarterbacking clinic... They are averaging over 5 yards a carry, but they still want to pass the ball on every down.. :D
Quote:
no, one was a hit to the head and one was a late hit |
There are a few weak calls on the GB-TB game already. That was not Pass interference
make that 4 picks of Orton in the first half.

Somewhere, in a mansion far, far away; Sterling Sharpe just said "I REALLY like what the Raiders are doing. No, really, I REALLY like what the Raiders are doing!!!" |
Orton has 4 picks, but they are still only down 10 points.. And they are in field goal range now. You have to give that Bears defense a ton of credit.
Bears defense is damn stout. We've been all over them and they've held.
Man, it's amazing, Kerry Collins can look like Robo QB for a couple of series and then just go to hell. I have to say I'm impressed with Oakland though. They are playing desperate. It's going to be interesting to see what happens the rest of the way.
Also impressed with the fight of GB. They've got some calls for sure (that PI call was just horrible), but they are playing hard. Culpepper just looks terrific today. And Miami/Carolina. Maybe that Denver blowout in Miami wasn't so bad. You smack the Patriots in the mouth one week and the Phins shred you the next? Yikes. |
Quote:
A few? I don't know about that. The PI call was pretty questionable. |
Quote:
The roughing the passer penalty on Griese was crap. And the holding penalty against was questionable at best |
aw shit. I missed Troy Williamson's first career TD, but caught it on the halftime highlights. That was a nice 53 yard bomb. Its 24-6 Vikings at the half.
Quote:
Ouch! |
That was a catch by Murphy. Fucking Sherman didn't challenge.
Quote:
Ok second half starts as the first half went, interception of Orton, thats FIVE on the day. |
Fiedler in for the Jets.
Thank God! Pennington is SOOOO clearly not himself this season that's it is painful to watch. Personally I would start Fiedler for a few weeks. |
I never thought I would say this, but I don't think there is a team that hits as hard as the Colts.. If anyone is watching their game you will know what I mean. Anyone on the Browns that has touched the ball is noticably limping. Bob Sanders and Mike Doss at the safty spots are the leaders of the hit squad.
Whoot, palmer lights it up again. 17-0 Cincinnati. Turnovers Kill.

Chris Henry's first career TD. Sweet.
