Don Adams has died
 

Don Adams, star of 1960s spy spoof "Get Smart" and voice behind cartoon character "Inspector Gadget," died Monday, his agent said.

I don't have a link yet but CNN.com has a "Breaking News" banner at the top stating so. At least as of now they do.

Rest in peace.

Get Smart was great. Unfortunately, his death will probably make unoriginal Hollywood dig up Get Smart from the ashes and into a 2006 remake hell like all the rest of the classic shows. Nobody's gonna do "missed it by that much" like Don though.

Siegfried is still alive so I guess KAOS won :(

I loved that show when I was a kid. "Would you believe" that I had a crush on agent 99? I still laugh when I think of how Smart would tell Hymie (sp?) the android agent, to kill the lights and Hymie would take out his pistol and shoot the light bulb! What a classic show that was.

Does anyone remember the movie they made "The Nude Bomb" made in 1980.

Get Smart was one of my all tiem favorite sitcoms as a child. I will always have fond memories of the show and Mr. Adams. Oh yeah and Agent 99 (Barbara Feldon).

Best thing out of Fark in a long time.

That's horrible, but at first I thought it was Douglas Adams.
