The Akers stuff is classic. :D

HomerJSimpson 09-28-2005 11:56 AM

Hehe.

Wolfpack 09-28-2005 12:06 PM

The man's on fire. What more needs to be said? :D

Raiders Army 09-28-2005 12:07 PM

Great stuff, but if you made Andy Reid's body a little bigger, it'd be greater.

Yeah, I should probably go with the round body type.

QuikSand 09-28-2005 12:18 PM

Might even be the best yet.

I know, it's like a big flere up or something. Anytime the Chargers are mentioned, it is automatically a great thread. Seriously, though, the Akers post is a classic.

Lathum 09-28-2005 01:43 PM

outstanding. Even if I am a Giants fan

Neuqua 09-28-2005 02:49 PM

Keep'em coming!

JAG 09-28-2005 03:05 PM

Nice work. I echo the sentiment on the Akers portion. :)

MizzouRah 09-28-2005 03:06 PM

Has this been released in game format yet?

Emiliano 09-28-2005 03:08 PM

Gold.

Hmm. Using the new detailed play-by-play, it sure seems like we could release a new viewer that showed some animation. Flere's MS-Paint drawing style might make an interesting art style for such a viewer. If only I didn't have a stack of existing projects...

condors 09-28-2005 03:51 PM

awsome stuff! KUTGW!

st.cronin 09-28-2005 11:10 PM

Me, I liked the fortune teller bit. I think that was on another level.

cthomer5000 09-28-2005 11:13 PM

The Manning fantasy football bit is solid.

DaddyTorgo 09-28-2005 11:19 PM

Yep, I drafted Manning first in one of my leagues. Then I got that trade offer of Kerry Collins, Rudy Johnson, and Marvin Harrison for Peyton which I asked about on this board. So far, I'm glad I made that trade.

Keep up the good work.

flere-imsaho 09-29-2005 11:06 AM

Based on someone's suggestion from last year, I'm thinking of "publishing" these at the end of the year. Probably some inexpensive cafepress-type booklet or something. Would that interest anyone, or is this the realm of complete fantasy?

Obviously a niche market but there's definitely sufficient quality to be charging money.

MacroGuru 09-29-2005 11:08 AM

You know...we could sooooo animate these as Flash cartoons.

MIJB#19 09-29-2005 11:55 AM

Flere, you rock.

Great stuff by the way.

How about an best-of "NFL in pictures" at the end of the season?

jeff061 10-02-2005 05:58 PM

Week 4 should have the Pats defense picking their noses while the Bolts fly by for the TD.

SirFozzie 10-02-2005 07:04 PM

Defense?

What?

What?

What?

stevew 10-02-2005 11:52 PM

The fortune teller looked like Polamalu.

Eaglesfan27 10-02-2005 11:57 PM

I just finally saw this. Hilarious.

Lorena 10-03-2005 01:39 AM

I can hardly wait to see some more San Diego pix for this week :D

Just got done rereading all "...In Pictures" threads from this year, and I think that would be great.

BTW, the fantasy football owner who had Peyton might have been a bit premature in his demise after three weeks. However, he's going to feel the same way if he plays Manning during the fantasy playoffs, and Indy decides to rest him most of the game.

Also, I loved the stuff about Favre turning into a pumpkin.
