Packers/Panthers

So how long til Brett retires?

7-0 Panthers

Wasabiak 10-03-2005 08:27 PM

Never. He'll play until he's in a wheelchair.

st.cronin 10-03-2005 08:34 PM

I don't think he's close to quitting, unless the Pack goes 2-14 or something.

cthomer5000 10-03-2005 09:01 PM

Lets say the Pack just keep losing every game this year. At what point do they just start Aaron Rodgers?

RendeR 10-03-2005 09:03 PM

if they lose tonight? I'd say next week, at 0-4 the season's over for the Packers, time to let the kid learn. Brett may as well announce he's done.

If they win? who knows.

I need a Packer win 21-20 to get my pickem' score back into something usable =)

Fonzie 10-03-2005 09:32 PM

Attention Packers OL: those guys in black shirts? You're supposed to block them.

Just a reminder.

Wasabiak 10-03-2005 09:33 PM

Here's a prediction for you..........

Mike Tice and Sherman switch postions, and the Vikings win the NFC Norse. Stick that in your government cheese-eating pipe and smoke it, BEEOTHES!!!!!!!!!

Fonzie 10-03-2005 09:34 PM

The Packers will not bench Favre, no matter how bad this year gets.

Fonzie 10-03-2005 09:46 PM

I missed a good chunk of the first half - were the injuries to Flanagan and Clifton bad?

PS: Is it wrong to wack off to Alba while Kimmell is standing next to her? It kinda creeps me out but I can't stop.

I might be wrong on this, I don't think we need to hxxp links to our own forum.

At least not yet.

Wasabiak 10-03-2005 10:30 PM

Oops, sorry again. That's 2 on me bro.

Eaglesfan27 10-03-2005 10:30 PM

I need Stephen Davis to get at least 32 more yards or 1 more TD to get my first win this year in the FOFC Keeper League.

Stop throwing the ball, Delhomme!

It's actually pretty forward thinking on your part - I'm sure it won't be that long before we become a hardcore porn site. :)

That Driver TD just tied my game for my opponent. Fuck! I'm ahead on yardage, though. So if Diver does nothing else, I should still win.

Eaglesfan27 10-03-2005 10:41 PM

YES! Finally a win in that league :)

RendeR 10-03-2005 10:44 PM

Fucking Packers.

Congrats, bro. I actually have Davis going in my "other league", heheh. 83 pts, and high points right now. $30, ching ching!!!!!! That's 2 bottles of brandy, for those keeping score at home.

Excellent. Congrats.

I actually won high score in my money league this week too :) My first good week of Fantasy Football in either of my leagues.

no

You have to love Brett Farve. The guy is incredible. Sad to see this type of gunslinging disappear after he retires.

Past the 50 with 1:50 left.

ISiddiqui 10-03-2005 11:22 PM

Penalties going to doom the Packers.

ISiddiqui 10-03-2005 11:23 PM

Well... Farve made it fun at the end.

I like how you waited to answer that.. ;)

mauchow 10-03-2005 11:25 PM

Oh, well. Vikings basically stay in first! :)

I don't know why I was rooting for the Packers that game, I guess I just felt sorry for my dad(packer fan) and Favre.. I can go to bed happy for the comeback(fell short, however) and happy for the loss. Good night finally!

Coop 10-03-2005 11:31 PM

Missed most of the game..ill take the win. i cant wait intill i go to the Panthers game against the Vikings oct 30

Wolfpack 10-03-2005 11:34 PM

*hack* *cough* *cough* *hack* *sputter* *whew*

That would be the sound of Panthers choking for a brief time on a 19-point lead before being able to dislodge the blockage.

John Fox is a good coach, but the boy's dumb as a rock about deciding when to go for two points and it nearly cost them. (Granted, even if they were up four, the time left to start that drive was more than enough to win with, but even so....)

Fonzie 10-03-2005 11:34 PM

Yeah, that game wound up being much more fun to watch than I thought it would. Damn, but Favre came close.

And, of course, I yet again get damn near nothing out of Ryan Longwell in my fantasy football league. Fucker.

I dropped Longwell after Week 1.......Get with the program there chief.

Lorena 10-03-2005 11:52 PM

I'm glad I watched the game til the end. I thought the game was over for sure but that second to last drive by the Packers was vintage Brett Favre... I'm a miss him when he's gone.

Hammer755 10-03-2005 11:56 PM

I'm glad that Driver got a TD, or my decision to play Fred Taylor over Kevin Jones would have cost me a fantasy win this week.
