Ping: Taco Bell workers

What the hell part of 'NO onions' is so fucking hard to understand? You obviously understand the damn word well enough to deny English-speaking ability when you want retail customer service reps to cater to you.

Jesus Christ.

MrBug708 10-04-2005 04:26 PM

Be a man and eat the onions. It'll put hair on your chest ;)

Logan 10-04-2005 04:26 PM

This really cracked me up.

WSUCougar 10-04-2005 04:30 PM

I think around here you'd have better luck pinging...oh, say...Olive Garden workers.

No room. The guys on the track team didn't nickname me "Wookie" in high school for nothing.

If they don't speak english well enough to understand what "NO onions" means, they don't comprehend it well enough for me to give a fuck where I post it.

no cebollas

JeeberD 10-04-2005 04:35 PM

No doubt, I HATE when they put onions on my burritos when I tell them not to. It's one thing if a joint leaves them on a burger, you can take those off so easily. But those diced onions they but in the burritos? You gotta dig around in there for a half hour before you can get them all out...

You're bitter, sir. Sit down please. Here, have this MegaOnion Chalupa gratis as our way of saying we're sorry.

Perhaps you shouldn't go somewhere that pays workers minimum wage

Schmidty 10-04-2005 05:45 PM

People that complain about fast food workers are hilarious. They're fast food workers, what the fuck do you expect? If you want great service don't go to Taco Bell. When I go to a place like that, I automatically accept mistakes as part of the package (and price).

Tom E 10-04-2005 06:04 PM

I'd be more worried about Jose washing his hands after wiping his ass, then a few onionins

Joe 10-04-2005 06:12 PM

nothing is worse than burger king workers. last week i got a whopper in the drive through, and I ended up getting a burger on a bun without anything on it, no lettuce, tomatoes, etc etc. It was just the meat. What the fuck.

jbmagic 10-04-2005 06:45 PM

next time have them repeat the order back to you.

Galaxy 10-04-2005 06:53 PM

Reminds me a Capital One commerical.

Draft Dodger 10-04-2005 06:53 PM

the Taco Bell in my town has the distinction of being the worst Taco Bell in the galaxy. I rarely give them my business, mostly because it usually takes 30 minutes to get through the drive thru (as in 30 minutes AFTER placing the order) and the order is ALWAYS wrong. they always forget to put something in the bag, which isn't a big deal because I always check, but how hard can it be to just get a simple order right?

Daimyo 10-04-2005 07:02 PM

Chipolte is only like a $1 more...

Taco 10-04-2005 07:10 PM

Just thought I'd post here since this is a thread about Mexican food. I have nothing to say.

WSUCougar 10-04-2005 07:20 PM

I once ordered a "MexiMelt" as part of a drive-thru order, and noticed it wasn't included in the bag. So I told the pimple-faced clerk, "Hey, I'm missing the MexiMelt." He looked at me like I said, "Hey, I'm missing the en fuego dogshit taco" and then asked, "What's a MexiMelt." (no lie)

I said, "It's part of my order...it's an item on your menu."

And he said, "No it isn't."

And I said, "Yes, IT IS. Go look."

He returned, enlightened, with said MexiMelt.

Apparently the "NO" part. :)

Does anyone else have the Taco Bell/KFC combo joints around them? They are the absolute worst. I went in there one night about 8:45, and there were two people working there. Two restaurants, two people! So after waiting in line for 20 minutes to place my order for chicken, I'm informed that the KFC part closes at 9:00. WTF?

After 9:00, they should change the name to NFC (No Fucking Chicken).

I like this, because it gives you infinite food combinations: Popcorn Chicken Double Decker....Honey BBQ dipped cinnamon twistys....6 piece nachos

We don't have any of those around here that I know of, but there are KFC/A&W combo restaurants showing up around here.

Would you believe they did repeat the order back, without me asking them to, and still fucked it up?

stevew 10-04-2005 11:19 PM

Around where i live, people died a few years ago cause of tainted green onions. Something about E-coli infected produce. Since then, no restaurants throw them on anything. If people were to die in southern california, than SackAttack could be onion free. Until then, forget the drive through, get out of the car and go inside.

jbmagic 10-04-2005 11:32 PM

Del Taco rules :)

RGunner 10-04-2005 11:41 PM

in fort worth area they have KFC/Taco Bell/Pizza Hut...conveniently nicknamed KenTaco Hut....its the worst fast food place ive ever been to, the food is horrible, service is horrible and its just a horrible place to be altogether, although the combos of food is amazing if they cook it good, which is rare

MrBug708 10-05-2005 12:25 AM

I went to Taco Bell yesterday actually and they gave me those wannabe churro's for free. Cinnamon Twists? Didn;t know if it was a promotion or what but I was already home when I saw it so I didnt worry about it. Didnt even eat them til they were cold anyhow

Yeah, when I got out of Shakespeare class at 10 pm, they were all that was open, so I swung by, and they gave me free Cinnamon Twists, too. And they got the fucking burritos right at 10 pm at night, so what's the issue at 2:30 in the afternoon?

Ragone 10-05-2005 05:07 AM

Make sure to specify you are with immigration when you pull up to the drive thru.. your service will be slow.. but perfect.. :)

thetrilogy 10-05-2005 08:41 AM

My wife is so blonde she thinks Taco Bell is the Mexican Phone Company.

Raiders Army 10-05-2005 08:56 AM

There are a lot of funny posts in this thread.

Raiders Army 10-05-2005 08:56 AM

Dola,

And it's BK that says you can have it your way, not Taco Bell.

gottimd 10-05-2005 08:58 AM

The worst Taco bell in the galaxy???

Surely you can't be serious?

Bullshit.

bbor 10-05-2005 11:20 AM

I don't care.

I don't care if they put onions on taco bell

I don't care if they don't wipe their hands after they shit and then make my food.

I don't care if refried beans is actually ground shit.

I don't care if they screw up my order.

I don't care if it take an hour to get my food.

I don't care if i sit on the shitter 3 hours the day after eating TB.

It is STILL the best food in the world!

Look, it's one thing if something gets into my order that I didn't order. It's quite another when something I specifically said "Do NOT put this in my order" gets in there. "No" is the most universal word on the planet. How the hell can you get that wrong?

I'm not expecting a waiter to come out with a little white towel on his arm and a French accent.

I AM expecting that if I place a simple order like "Two burritos, no onions," that you can get it right.
