nba live 2006 xbox 360 edition
I found this article hilarious. Apparently NBA Live 2006 on the xbox 360 will not have franchise mode…but it will have a nice slick menu.
http://sports.ign.com/articles/655/655514p2.html EA apparently went for features that they felt fans would most often use. LOL. Like create-a-player function. IGN also believes that the single season component will be quite barebone. Yeah, cause no one wants to play multiple seasons of basketball. Well at least not on EA’s b-ball game. Sega is going to win this battle hands down. This is probably the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. |
Have you ever been to any of the big NBA Live fan sites? All they are is mod central. Removing franchise play seems very stupid, but If EA could only include one or the other, I think the core audience would rather have more player/team customization options than franchise play.
|
Yeh but those mod sites are usually for pc content or xbox with a hard drive content. The new basic xbox 360 has no hard drive making mods more difficult I would imagine.

it has a HD, for mo bling
|
that is amazing that they are taking out franchise - I hope 2k sports out sells them 10-1.
This one issue took me from purchasing it with my system, to passing on it all together. |

Memories ... I think that one had the dunk contest / 3point contest as a bonus (or maybe that was a later version). |
