My first move has been made and sent to Vince. I think this will be the correct order, since it is the order I entered the players in. If not, please let me know and I will change the order.

Having a central place to check in for our game should be helpful. Please post anymore relevant info for the game here. Questions, etc., too.

Awesome, I haven't been Persia yet. I was India/Ghandi on the botched game and my last two single player games I drew Ghandi as random so nice to have a change.

EDIT -- I'm at work until about 4 PM, then I have a softball game at 7:30 PM (all PST). So if I don't have the file when I get off work, I won't get the turn done until about 10 or 11 PM PST.

You gotta love it when you frighten the little villagers around you so much that they give you all their gold!

I don't know what effect it would have for not everyone to have the patch, but I installed it and tested the last PBEM file. It opened fine, so we shouldn't have any upgrade problems.

If you don't know how to apply the patch, from the main screen, go to Advanced -> check for updates.

File's with me, I should get the turn done sometime in the AM (Pacific Time Zone) tomorrow. Civ 4 computer is inaccessible at the moment.

I went ahead and did the patch after my last turn. So I should be good.

Busy day for the Russians -- first military unit, first technological advance, and we've scouted out some nice farmland south of our hilly base of operations. Things are looking up.

The Persian scouts are about and have aquired a map of the area from locals. This map shows another civilization not far off. I think we will have contact within a few turns.

I last sent to Jeeber on 11/27, and haven't received one since.

I sent a file to Lonnie around that same time...two or three days ago. Did you not get it?

Actually it looks like he did since his last turn looks like it was on the 29th...

I took my last turn 11/28 at 1:00 am, and sent it on.

I believe it is with me. I haven't had access to my Civ IV computer for a day or two. I should have the file sent out by some time this evening (probably very early AM EST).

Though it seems at time that the Russian historian is recording the events of history in vain, with no audience, he continues relentlessly as historians must. The Russian scouts indicated that contact with a foreign civilization would occur soon -- meanwhile, they enjoyed some fine grapes.
