OT: Cleaning My Keyboard?
 

My keyboard has all kinds of shite in it. How do I clean it out?

Dude, we know what kind of "shite" is on your keyboard, just own up to it!

Turn it upside down and shake it, then get one of those electronic compressed air can things and get the rest of the debris out. Afterwards, a damp cloth to wipe it down.

Or, pony up ten bucks and get another one.

Our office has a keyboard cleaning contest once a quarter. We shake 'em out and the most disgusting wins a can of compressed air.

yep. it's already been said. little cans of compressed air.

Or toss it in the shower and rinse it. Just make sure it dries FULLY before plugging it back in.

You might as well throw it in the Dishwasher. :)

From my past experience, an old toothbrush works great.

i agree with the shake, compressed air, wipe-down combination.

I was in a computer store the other day. Keyboards were on sale for $3.99. Cans of compressed air were $4.99.

remove the keys and put it in the dishwasher
