Saints & Soldiers
Go rent it at Blockbuster. An indie flick that was extremely well done. I give it two thumbs up. WW2 backdrop but a movie about relationship(s) between the guys, the enemy, the French....It had some excellent arcs, excellent acting, action, etc.

You can actually only give it one thumb up. The saying is/was two thumbs up because there were/are two people on the show and if they both like the movie they both give a thumb up. Hence, two thumbs up. You are personally only allowed to give one thumb up. ;) |
I refuse to go to anymore movies that do not feature King Flasch. And Jeff Goldblum.

i don't plan on seeing this movie - can someone describe the "cigarette scene"?

Not so fast, buddy. This shit works like Reading Rainbow. "And If you want to know more, head to your local video store...." |
It's a great indie WW2 movie. Big thumbs up from me :)

Will watch it, i'm a fanatic for all WWII related movies, games, books etc.

Do you guys understand why the title is what it is?
Being from around here, and knowing the house that made the movie it's interesting. |

no but it fits the storyline....I think BubbaWheels would like it as there is a Faith based storyline as well. Now that you have me thinking I wonder if it isnt a Faith based movie to begin with. |

It is. Basically, the bulk of the soldiers in the story are LDS, hence the Saints part of the movie title. I know it is based on an actual event and actual people that were involved. I loved the movie, the history behind it, and it received major pub here, so I was inclined to see it as soon as it releases. But it was probably the most this company has ever or will ever spend on a movie in their life. |
