Bad&Funny Movie Wanted

I was wondering if anyone here had a recommendation for a movie that's so bad, it's funny.

It has to be a movie that's bad... but is still amusing somehow. I can think of "Glen or Glenda?" by Ed Wood, but it's black and white... and I'd prefer a colour movie.

Thanks in advance.

Halloween III was recently discussed on these here boards. I find it largely amusing despite its attempt at horror.

Honolulu_Blue 12-20-2005 03:27 PM

Showgirls.

WSUCougar 12-20-2005 03:28 PM

Plan 9 from Outer Space (alas, in b&w)

Mr. Sparkle 12-20-2005 03:28 PM

Jack Frost....and not the one with Michael Keaton.

Halloween III is horrible, but I find the concept of people's heads being turned into bug-filled custard too disgusting to laugh. It's really gross and stupid.

Hell, the phrase "bug filled custard" alone gets me smilin'.

Or the one with Micheal Keaton for that matter. I'm mean seriously, that movie is awful and has some of the worst lines ever.

"A snow dad is better than no dad?"

I mean seriously.

st.cronin 12-20-2005 03:31 PM

Any friday the thirteenth movie.

Haha, can't say I've had the (dis)pleasure of seeing that gem of a flick.

WSUCougar 12-20-2005 03:33 PM

Legend (Tom Cruise) was pretty damn laughable.

It's horrible.

Here's another quote:

Michael Keaton to his son: You're the man!
Kid in reply: You're the man!
Michael Keaton in response: No! I'm the SNOWman!

I too often forget this movie when discussing really bad films. I cannot allow this to happen anymore.

Damn.. and I liked that movie...

For the average person, the Evil Dead series probably falls into that so bad it's funny... although.. once again, I like that series too so..

WSUCougar 12-20-2005 03:38 PM

Sorry, boys...I'm more of a Willow guy. :D

gottimd 12-20-2005 03:38 PM

Willow rocks too! I love me some Mad Martigan!

WSUCougar 12-20-2005 03:39 PM

I got one! The remake of Island of Doctor Moreau, with Val Kilmer and Marlon Brando. Horrendous and a hoot to boot.

Stupid Daikinis.

Honolulu_Blue 12-20-2005 03:41 PM

In the vein of Showgirls, Glitter (that Mariah Carey vehicle) is supposed to be laughably bad, but I have never seen it.

MikeVic 12-20-2005 03:42 PM

There's a lot of movies here to check out. :D

Wanna breed?

Karlifornia 12-20-2005 03:49 PM

Uh. Manos, anyone? I guess without MST3k it would be more painful and less entertaining.

In The Woods
any of the Turkish blockbuster remakes (Turkish E.T., Turkish Star Wars,Turkish Wizard of Oz, etc)
Pinata: Survival Island (yes, it's about a killer pinata)
Drainiac

EDIT: Whoops, after some IMDB review, the movie I referenced is titled "In The Woods" rather than "Into The Woods"

What's wrong with that line? He's right. A snow dad is better than no dad

Oh, and how could we leave Mac And Me off of this list?

miked 12-20-2005 04:24 PM

Critters.

Killer Clowns from Outer Space.

MacroGuru 12-20-2005 04:28 PM

How about

Saturday the 14th

Raiders Army 12-20-2005 04:28 PM

There is no such movie, IMHO.

Is he right? Is he?

Take a look at this monstrosity! It's terrifying! Not bug filled custard terrifying (the Butterman is a disturbed individual), but terrifying nonetheless.

Ice Cream Man. Maybe the only movie that Clint Howard is in that his brother didn't direct.

Kozure 12-20-2005 05:56 PM

Manos: Hands of Fate

Worst movie ever made. Beats Plan 9, hands down. No pun intended.

From what I've heard, the movie was made on a bet that some guy (who has no directing experience) couldn't make a film.

It's so bad it's hilarious.

I don't know, i think it's funny no matter what. That film is horrible. ;)

I submit Hell Comes to Frogtown, starring Rowdy Roddy Piper.

WrongWay 12-20-2005 06:38 PM

One of the funniest movies I've ever seen is I'm Gonna Git You, Sucka

I probably also enjoyed Strange Brew a little more than I should have.

Classic spoof, but I would put that one in the category with the Airplane, Naked Gun category. Not bad movies, just slapstick comedy.

There is a little known horror spoof made in the very early 80's called "Student Bodies" which is hard to find, but if you are horror movie fan but also like slapstick, it is the original "Scary Movie".

cthomer5000 12-20-2005 06:52 PM

They Call Me Bruce

Nwobhm 12-20-2005 07:13 PM

Italian horror film called "Demons", which somehow spawned a few sequels.

MJ4H 12-20-2005 07:28 PM

Best movie to watch if you want to laugh at a bad movie is:

No Retreat, No Surrender

I have watched this movie more than 3,000 times for the sole reason that it is so bad it is funny.
