So I bought an XBOX 360 last night...
 

Is it worth keeping? I do not see any games that I really HAVE to get at this point. I was thinking of maybe doing a one day auction on EBAY and seeing what I could get for it. Anyone on the board looking for one?

I got one yesterday as well. I picked up Madden and it's even more visually impressive than I thought it was. I'm still trying to get into the gameplay, but it's that similar/unsimilar feeling.

My wife picked up PGR3 for Christmas as well, so I can wait another four days to play that one. :)

Yay, RA! Add Rincewind to your buddy list if you're on Live. We gotta throw down on PGR3 once you're allowed to play it.

Maybe someone should post a thread with FOFC members Xbox live gamertags. I have PGR, haven't played it yet, and didn't know if anyone here had it.

I think that's probably been done in the past, but it couldn't hurt to start another one.

Unfortunately, I do not have Live. I will probably get it after the holidays. I had no idea how to hook it up, but after reading a little about it I see it's pretty easy. The thing that prevented me in the past was that my computer was across the room from my Xbox and I already had wires and cables running across the room. Wife didn't want "one more thing."

I also noticed that it's pretty cheap.

Not to threadjack, but is there a way to turn on the vision cone automatically in Madden? It's not in the setup.

I dunno if it's possible to turn it on permantly besides clicking in the right stick.

If you pick a receiver before the snap, it'll start focused on that receiver. It's just that by default, there is no primary receiver, so it's off.

You can press a trigger (by default, not the stick), or just move the right stick to pan it, and it will turn on.

Where the hell did you people get XBox 360's less than a week before Christmas?

Best Buy? That is where I got mine on Sunday, only took a 12 hour wait in line;)

There were no games that I just absolutely wanted to buy but, there are a few out there that I want to play so, I reactivated my gamefly account. (Gun & FIFA 06 should be at more door any day now) For $20 a month, figure that will tide me over until the titles start flowing out. Next game I want to buy is Oblivion in March..

If you really don't want it now, probably would be worthwhile just to sell it and roll any money towards rebuying in the future + a few extra games...

I'd do a 3 day auction with a buy it now and say 'local pickup only'. Trust me, You do not want to be dealing with these last minute shopping freakazoids right now emailing you about 'Has it shipped, has it shipped?' (I sell on Ebay.. I get one or two people a day asking where their item is even though I ship it out the next day w/confirmation #'s and they are asking 3 days later. Hellloooooooo people.. holidays.. lots of packages...)
