Ok - I just realized that there has not been a thread on this show yet! How can that be? It is the BEST new show this year!!!! Recap of season 1 was on last night, new season starts next week (I think), and is filled with tons of hot stars - Patrick Dempsey, Ellen Pompeo, Katherine Heigl (so there is eye candy for the boys too)....

Let's discuss!

If you can be specific in explaining what makes it the best new show of the year (besides "hot stars"), we will have a beginning.

Well, the first show started with Meredith sleeping with Derek, who we later found out was her boss at the hospital, where she in an intern.

Angry Asian Chick, Christina, who has the most attitude of anyone I have ever seen, started sleeping with the Chief of Surgery (I think that is his title), Burke, who is also hot, got pregnant, lost the baby and moved in with Burke despite their many differences.

Then there is Izzy, the girl who paid her way through college by being an underwear model. George, the sweetest guy, though not the hottest, who is secretly in love with Meredith.

How could you have not watched this show???? Even radii enjoys it when he catches it!

Tried it twice, found it predictable and boring.

I like it, and watch every week. My favorite hottie is the lady Dr. Shepard; red head, blue eyes--sweet!

I watch it every week. Good show.

Oh come on, I'm sick and have been stuck on the couch for THREE days! Please throw me a bone and some juicy conversation!!!! :mad:

So do you think that McDreamy is going to leave his bitchy wife and go back with Meredith?

Will Burke and Christina make it? What about Izzy and Alex? I can't decide if I hate him or love him - he can be a total ass, but then sometimes he is totally sweet (and hot!)

Based on your explanation, I'm sorry to say that Gray's Anatomy is not the best new show on television.

One of the episodes featured a character who watched porn to manage his pain...

Gray's Anatomy is a great book on human anatomy. A little dated, but a good resource of information.

I agree, but I was so sick of it, that I burnt it once I was done school.





By the way, I agree with Grantdawg's impression of the show.

You guys are all still missing the point...oliegirl is sick, been on the couch for 3 days, is jacked up on everything from robitussin to presciption cough medicine and she needs to talk about something fun! :)

"My Name is Earl" is the best new show this season. Nuff said.

I watched parts of a couple of episodes as it is my wife's favorite show, but during the time it's on, I usually go in the other room and post useless trash on some internet message board.

Worst show ever.

In other words, it's a nighttime soap opera set in a hospital.

I'll at least agree with one thing, Katherine Heigl is indeed quite hot.

I quite enjoy the show. It is kind of light and fun, with interesting characters....and Katherine Heigl is hot. :)

As for the show I like it. A little corny at times, but give it a few years under center and it'll be a gem.

Heigl boobs = good.

Terrible show = not good.

Heigl boobs = the win.

You can't possibly think that "Stacked" is better can you?

And agreeing with ISiddiqui. Earl is the best new show this season.

Of course nothing comes close to "Arrested Development." Best show on TV.

My wife likes it, so I watch it. It's ok, but not really my type of show. The most annoying thing to me about the show is the main character and how freaking whiny she is.

I hate hospital dramas... but I watch this show religiously. Must admit it is on TIVO schedule. I love it, and it has nothing to do with K. Heigl (or horse as I call her).

The funny part is when they show the Seattle rain showers and it is heavy rain like Georgia and thunder. Both you would almost never see here.
